Juggling my dreams

Flipping my life upside down one more time to say I wanted to chase another Olympic Gold has come with many stressful moments but it’s all about the juggling. Juggling being a mom, a wife, a business woman, and chasing the Gold medal dream requires a lot of attention to detail. Often it seems like the task requires more attention than I can give. I tell myself in these stressful moments, “this is what you prayed for.” I find a lot of peace in that statement. It means the stress I feel is something I can handle and a moments rest is just around the corner.

I have made changes in my preparation this year and I’m happy I have. I have opened my mind to other ways of handling the day to day stress of mommy, athlete, businesswoman. The newest way is the addition of the BioFit360 droplets. Our bodies naturally produce CBD and for me I am all about the “Natural.”

I have added it to my morning routine and evening routine. When I wake up and get ready for the day, I take my first droplet before I do my hair and my last checks before I leave my bedroom. The day then seems to go into overdrive because once my daughter wakes up, there is no turning back. By the time I get to practice I have lived a whole life and preparing for another.

The mindset and pressure of practice are things I have juggled for many years and are second nature. There is a pleasure in the stress of practice because this stress gets the most out of my body and mind. After wrapping up practice, the juggling is switched back to mommy-wife mode, making sure my family and myself are finishing the day on schedule.

At the end of the day I call it a success because everyone is happy, healthy, and I am one day closer to my Olympic dream. I end the day with one more droplet before bed. It’s like a “here you go body, let’s calm down and get ready for the next hectic day.”

I feel I am always learning and changing in this thing called life. Everyday I wake up to the juggling of all these amazing responsibilities God has blessed me with. Even though I have moments of feeling overwhelmed, I can say with confidence, I wouldn’t ask for it any other way.
